3D NIPPLE TATTOO

What is a 3D nipple tattoo?

Areola restoration is a permanent procedure that is performed for various reasons. 3D areola restoration can be for breast cancer survivors who have undergone a mastectomy, looking to regain a sense of wholeness back, it may be for cosmetic purposes following a breast lift/reduction where peri-areolar scars are present, it may be to add more pigment to existing pale areolas and it is also performed for gender affirmation surgeries to complete the surgeon’s initial work, ensuring proper placement and hiding scars as much as possible!

Does getting a 3D nipple tattoo hurt?

Every body reacts differently, but the pain seldom exceeds 3-4 on the scale of 1-10. Topical and secondary numbing products are available and may be used to ensure comfort. Following a mastectomy, sensation to the areola and nipple complete is usually reduced or absent.

Are 3D nipple tattoos permanent?

Yes! Specially formulated paramedical inks are used for this procedure and results last the way a traditional body tattoo last. Touchups may be required many years down the line.

How much are touch-ups?

One touch-up is included within 4-12 weeks of your initial appointment.

Can you puncture my implant with the tattoo needle?

Not at all! The needle is only entering the dermal layer of the skin, which is less than 1mm, far away from where your implants are placed.

How long do I have to wait after my surgery to get my
areola tattoo?

Every body heals differently, however it is usually at 6 months after surgery.
